Okay okay, I admit it . . .
Saturday, November 29th, 2003 20:58I don't totally hate rom-coms.
Every time I go to see a rom-com I post something about how I don't I like rom-coms but this particular one was an exception. But I just realised that in the last year I've seen and enjoyed "My Big Fat Greek Wedding", "Sweet Home Alabama", "Two Weeks Notice", "Down with Love", "Intolerable Cruelty" & "Love Actually".
I went to see all of them because of who was starring in them: MBFGW - John Corbett (Chris in the morning from Northern Exposure) , SHA - Reese Witherspoon, TWN - Hugh Grant & Sandra Bullock (probably wouldn't have gone if it was just one of them), DWL - Ewan McGregor, IC - George Clooney & Catherine Zeta Jones and most recently LA (practically the whole cast).
So I'm just going to have to admit that rom-coms are a not-so-secret vice, to be indulged in when I'm in the mood for something light and fluffy.
30/11 - edited, as I'd forgotten to include Intolerable Cruelty.
