Long Ago and Far Away
Tuesday, January 13th, 2004 19:49I have just started reading "Last Tango in Aberystwyth" and as usual when I think of Aber I have been struck with pangs of homesickness. I so much enjoyed my time as a student in Aberystwyth, but I have never been back in the 15 years since I left.
The webcam on the BBC Mid-Wales website looks over a square where the King's Hall used to stand. When I lived there, the King's Hall had been boarded up for a year or so and and debate was raging over whether to refurbish it or knock it down.
