I'm an inadequate aunt : (

My brother rang up this evening to wish me happy birthday, and told me that my postcard to my nephew and niece was not up to scratch.

They liked the photo of a black bear, but unfortunately I had neglected to put any 'kisses' next to my signature. My nephew can't really read yet, but he noticed their absence and was quite perturbed.
