Book 21: "After Me, the Deluge" by David Forrest
Sunday, May 4th, 2008 16:22When the only telephone rings in a small village in the Auvergne, the innkeeper is surprised to say the least when the caller says that he is God and demands to speak to the village priest.
When the villagers are told that God is going to destroy the world in a second flood and has chosen them to survive, they barricade themselves into their fortified mediaeval village and start building a rather oddly shaped ark, designed by the local undertaker.
An amusing tale from the authors of "And to My Nephew Albert I Leave the Island What I Won Off Fatty Hagan in a Poker Game" and "The Great Dinosaur Robbery" (which was made into the film "One of Our Dinosaurs is Missing").
