Swinging over the top of the swing

When I played in the local park as a child, older children claimed a few times that they had gone all the way over the top of the swing, but strangely I never saw anyone doing it, and even when I was 6 or 7 I didn't really believe them.

And then, on tonight's Bang goes the Theory", they actually tried it! It turns out that it can be done, but only with a lot of machinery and safety equipment, so don't try it at home.
