A book containing the humorous memoirs of both God and Satan. They were originally published separately, so Satan's memoirs unfortunately lacked the amusing illustrations of the other book. They were OK, but both of them could have been funnier. You wouldn't think that Satan's memoirs could be boring, but there was rather too much whingeing about being hard-done-to by God and the other archangels before the Fall.
The illustrations and the footnotes were the best bit. The ghost-writer's comments in the footnotes were about trying to keep the Authors in order, while avoiding being turned into a cactus if he didn't laugh at God's jokes or a worse fate if he criticised Satan's lack of candour. Satan also used the footnotes to taunt particular readers about their upcoming deaths.
