Sunday, May 25th, 2003 00:13My new credit card arrived today. 0% APR on balance transfers and purchases for the next 10 months. When I rang up to activate it I asked for the exact date that the 0% rate runs out, so that I can be sure to pay it off in time.
This week I got another credit card offer in the post, for a sub-prime card that will give you a massive credit limit of £500 and charge you 44% APR for the privilege. I don't think that I'll be taking them up on their oh so kind offer!
Perhaps I should ring them up, tell them that the targeting for their marketing campaign is totally wrong and suggest that they use the company I work for instead : )
