Happy (belated) birthday to me!

kittiwakeIt's 11 days since my birthday and today I got round to buying my birthday present to myself, which is something I've started doing in the past few years.
I hadn't decided what I was going to buy, but there was a stall in the square advertising a Timberland promotion of a free bag with every purchase, so I went round the corner to their shop to try on some walking shoes. Apparently the Timberland shop has been there since April, so I'm not sure how I failed to notice it up to now.
I decided on a golden tan suede pair which were both pretty and comfortable. They were priced at £70, but when they rang them up they were only £65 and they also gave me a voucher for £10 off my next purchase. The free bags were drawstring duffel bags and came in a variety of colours, so I chose a black one with a big orange logo and also entered their competition to win a holiday or a pair of hiking boots.
