I finally succumbed and bought some books on Sunday, five books to be exact, but one doesn't count as it is for a Christmas present. I'm going to blame The Works for having some good books in their 3 for £5 offer for once, and Fopp for having some very interesting books for £3. How can I be expected to resist such temptation? Of the four that do count, one is a science fiction/alternate history book that has been on my wish list for a long time. Two are fantasy novels with one being the first book in a series that has been recommended several times recently on [livejournal.com profile] fantasywithbite while the other is the second book in a series whose first book is also on my TBR pile (so it could turn out to be a waste of money if I don't like the first book - must stop doing that). The final book is a humorous novel that was also on my wish list.

The Man in the High Castle - Philip K Dick
Sailing to Sarantium - Guy Gavriel Kay
Lost in a Good Book - Jasper Fforde
The Book, the Film and the T-Shirt - Matt Beaumont
