I have just finished a nostalgic re-read of this feel-good children's book, which I received as part of a Secret Santa present. Definitely an 'Aaaahhh' book, as WistfulDragon, the Book Crosser who sent it, said. It was great to read about Sara in the attic, her friends Becky and Ermengarde and the monkey after all this time - I wonder how many years it is since I last read this book?
