Honey monster

I went round to my parents' house after work today, as they have just got back from holiday in the Pyrenees (both sides). They gave me a jar of chestnut blossom honey, which is a gingery colour. One of the other honeys they brought back was so yellow in colour that I thought it was a jar of lemon curd.

I have just had a big spoonful of chestnut honey and not only is it very strongly flavoured, it is also slightly crystallised. I think I'll take it to work to have on my breakfast toast, as I never eat breakfast at home.
