kittiwakeThe boots I won in the Timberland competition have arrived. They are golden suede, with a brown leather cuff around the top. I wore them on Sunday and they are a good fit.
My parents have got back from Australia & bought me a tube of Vegemite & a haematite pendant (a rounded disc with a hole in the middle). I have taken the Vegemite to work to spread on my toast in the mornings and I'm very pleased about the pendant as my haematite heart pendant snapped in half in my luggage last time I went on holiday.
The card that came with my new pendant says that haematite has a positive effect on the bloodstream, increases resistance to stress and helps circulate oxygen throughout the body, is energising & vitalising and enhances personal magnetism, optimism, will & courage. Finally it says it is a very powerful stone to those attracted to it, which would apply to me as I had a pair of earrings & 2 bracelets already. So if stones could have any effect on your well-being, it sounds like a good one to wear. Personally I just like the pewter colour and shiny metallic surface.
