Autumn is Here

I am cat-sitting this week and as I was waiting for the bus home afterwards, a group of kids on the other side of the road were indulging in the traditional autumn pastime of throwing sticks up into the branches of a chestnut tree to knock down the conkers.

It was only just after 7 o'clock as I walked up the street I live on, but it was already getting dark. There was a chill in the air today and I thought I might have to put the heating on when I got home, but luckily the thick walls had kept it warm so there was no need. I don't think it will be long until I have to though.

The Summer is Dead! Long live the Autumn!

Diet & Exercise Report: Resolutions

I've been putting more weight on recently, so I really need to up the amount of exercise that I do. Yesterday was the first time in ages that I've done a good exercise session without either giving up half-way through the cross-trainer program or spending more time in the sauna than actually swimming.
